Негибкость заработной платы
Тенденция к медленному снижению заработной платы в ответ на избыточное предложение труда. Это обусловлено несколькими причинами. Против снижения заработной платы выступают как профсоюзы, так и работники, не состоящие в профсоюзной организации. В некоторых случаях работодатели также предпочитают сохранять установленные ставки зарплаты, особенно когда они были согласованы в результате сложных переговоров. Имеет также значение скорость приспособления к изменившейся рыночной конъюнктуре (см. Adjustment speed). Поскольку рынки труда характеризуются негибкостью, недостаточный совокупный спрос обычно приводит к вынужденной безработице (см. Involuntary unemployment). Ср.: Flexible wages.
